“Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” This famous Mike Tyson quote was echoed by today’s guest, and fittingly so. The world of real estate investing can seem pretty unpredictable.
Without a WHY anchoring your every move, you will be buffeted by the winds of an ever-shifting market and lose track of why you even made the bold move to become an investor in the first place. But nothing good ever comes easy. The most successful individuals in the field are the ones who persisted with an enduring sense of purpose.
Todd Dexheimer is the CEO of Venture D Properties and the host of the podcast Pillars of Wealth Creation. Todd started out as a high school teacher, but once he realized that wasn't the best fit for him long-term, he wasted no time accumulating real estate assets, visiting around 20 properties a day and buying a new property almost every week.
At one point, he had acquired over 100 houses and could have easily retired from the cash flow they collectively produced. Instead, Todd decided that he wanted to pay it forward and make an impact on others. To that end, he established Venture D Properties, as well as the Pillars of Wealth Creation podcast, in order to help other aspiring and established real estate investors thrive in their careers.
