Episode Notes

“I am here to be financially free and to bring others along with me.” Today’s guest abides by this mantra, and for good reason: It’s her goal to help 1 million women live life on their own terms.

She believes that the key to succeeding as a real estate investor is to ally yourself with 1) those who are on the same path as you, and 2) those who have already walked the path and seek to pay it forward.

Monick Halm is the founder of Real Estate Investor Goddesses and a “recovered attorney.” Monick was raised to adopt the traditional mindset that getting a good degree and a job with a “steady” paycheck is the only way to go about life. Somewhere along the line, a grave medical emergency forced Monick to take a break from work (and pay) for 30 days.

During that time, she considered alternative options, finally settling on real estate. After ten years of building her portfolio, Monick decided that it was time to help other women like herself succeed in this oftentimes intimidating industry. Discover what drives her today, and why she believes that anyone who dreams of freedom can thrive as a real estate investor!
