Today’s guest was raised on hard work and a solution-oriented outlook on life. While he was raised by parents who are business owners in their own right, our guest went ahead and forged a path to success on his own terms. “I’m not the smartest guy in the world,” he insists. “What makes me different is, I know what questions to ask.”
Jason Hsiao is the Managing Director at Shaw Investments, a multifamily developer and syndicator. Growing up, Jason never had the world of entrepreneurship—much less real estate—in his sights, despite being heavily involved in his family business in Taiwan as an adolescent.
It was only after experiencing some relatively substantial returns from his first property in college that Jason realized he was on to something. Today he has built a multimillion-dollar portfolio with investments and development deals in multiple major metros.
Listen in as he takes us through his journey to becoming a world-class expert in the real estate development space.
